Memories of Gourock outdoor swimming pool

Gourock's outdoor swimming pool is currently being refurbished to the tune of £1.8m.

It will get some new features and lose some old ones- the orginal facade at the front will go.

We though it would be nice to look back at times gone by at the pool.

£1.8million. Well done Gourock!

East Ayrshire Council were going to close down New Cumnock Open Air Swimming Pool a decade ago and the NewCumnock Regeneration Volunteers (NERV) took it over.  They have done a fantastic job but now it looks as though this will be their last season.

Any tips????
