Gourock Girl Guide’s Indian adventure

Well done to Joanna Mitchell from the 4th Gourock Guides who has been chosen as Scottish representative to travel to Sangam, India during summer 2012.

Sangam is one of the Guide World Centres of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

It is one of the Guiding World Centres - residential development units where girls and young women broaden leadership and life-skills through international friendship, challenge, adventure and self-development.

Joanna will join other girls and young women from around the world and from all backgrounds to discover their potential, share experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of the complex global community in which they live.
